What is the 11 Plus (11+) exam?

The 11 Plus exam (also known as the 11 Plus or transfer test) is a test your child must undertake if you wish for them to attend a grammar school or other instituition that admits on the basis of academic selection.

What are children tested on?

Depending on the area you live in, the 11 Plus transfer test exam will consist of papers in any of up to four areas: Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, English and Maths.
