11+ Non-Verbal Reasoning
The English test tests children on the English areas on leanrning of the curriculum they learn in school. Below is a list of things children sitting the 11+ test will tested on, however some grammar school entrance exams do not test all areas.
- Comprehension exercises, where children have to read a passage of text and answer questions on it/li>
- Use of capital letters and punctuation
- Spelling, where children are asked to spot mistakes
- Reading and interpreting data displayed in graphs
- Word choice and grammar, where children can show their understanding of the English language
